Skiff-booming

22 F

My friends who flee South in the Winter probably won’t enjoy this video as much as they might otherwise.  As for me…  boating in the snow at 22 degrees Fahrenheit  on January 7, 2017 was about the most fun I’ve had since I was 15, and drove my mom’s T-bird anyway.  Think about it.  The Creek should’ve been frozen and it was without a doubt,  different to be out there in the snow.

The word “schussboom”, is a verb in the German language that is commonly used – particularly by the ski patrol – to describe skiing very fast downhill.   Some areas will pull your lift ticket for doing it in the wrong places.

Skiff-booming is an American verb for the art of skiffing in the snow.
